Anna Villa
Anna Villa is a London-based salsa artist, who currently teaches and performs in the UK and abroad both solo and in partnership with John Adenitire. Anna started dancing salsa at 17 following nine years of ballet. After developing with teachers including Angelique Sinclaire, Shaan and Supermario, she went on to train in Milan and New York with renowned salsa artists including Adolfo Indacochea, Carla Voconi, Marco Ferrigno and Shani Talmor.
On returning to London, Anna co-founded all-female UK power group Dulce Fuego and performed with UK dance company OtraDanz, led by Dani K, where she met John. She is a regular guest teacher with the London Latin Collective. With a strong knowledge of issues around sustainability from her day job in the finance sector, Anna is passionate about promoting HAVAH as a dancewear brand with a commitment to sustainable and responsible production. She is also passionate about supporting the next generation of female dancers to feel confident and empowered on their dance journeys; a mission aligned with HAVAH's own vision of empowerment through comfort and unique style.
